After recovering from anorexia nervosa, I noticed a surge in Instagram accounts dedicated to documenting individuals' recoveries, and many belonged to users who had adopted vegan diets. I recognized the problematic implications of this phenomenon and decided to do my own research and interview a dietitian who specializes in eating disorder treatment.

While serving as the editorial director for my university's Spoon University chapter, the HQ team asked me to write about the best places to eat in Orlando. I took recommendations from other Spoon members and locals and visited several restaurants before composing the piece.
